Oracle BPA Suite: Model and Implement Business Processes

Oracle University |
Oracle BPA Suite: Model and Implement Business Processes

Duration: 3 Days

What you will learn

In this course participants learn how to use Oracle Business Process Analysis (BPA) Suite 10.1.3.4, which provides

comprehensive modeling, analysis, and simulation capabilities for enterprise-wide business processes. Oracle BPA

supports enterprise architecture, process improvement, and change management and provides for alignment of

Business Process Management (BPM) and SOA initiatives. BPA suite is innovatively integrated with Oracle SOA Suite

10.1.3.3 to provide closed-loop BPM capability. This enables business analysts and developers to closely collaborate

throughout the entire BPM life cycle using the best tools for their specific needs.

Oracle BPA Suite includes Oracle Business Process Architect, Oracle Business Process Publisher, and Oracle

Business Process Repository components for business process modeling, collaboration, and storage respectively. BPA

Suite provides a rich and intuitive graphical modeling environment tailored to business users for defining process maps

and detailed process flows consisting of both human, automated and business rule steps that spans across

organizational boundaries. In addition to business process modeling, BPA Suite has capability to analyze processes by

running simulations based on different scenarios. Simulations can be used to do timing, cost analysis and to find

process and resource bottlenecks.
